 Best Vacuum at a great price! July 21, 2010
Easy Living
I bought this vacuum and liked it so much I purchased 5 more for family. I have three house pets and there's always hair or dirt to pick up. This vacuum is amazing! Lightweight and easy to use. It's easy to empty and has great suction. I understand it's been discontinued and that's a shame. If you have a chance to purchase one, I highly recommend it!

i shoped around and read reviews before i ordered this vac.so far my results are very good . the vac picks up everything . i have a cat so pet hairs are a problem but the vac does a good job picking it up. only thing i see as a slight problem is the filter gets in the way in the dirt canister and the dirt can get stuck above the filter at times. other than that i clean the dirt filter after each use yes thats extra work but the results are that my filter stays clean meaning suction stays good. rewind works well .i also like the cord clip on the handle.

Great suction, cleaning and overall performance. The only downfall is its weight, a little heavy if you are in a hurry. The cord could be a little longer but the auto cord drawback is awesome.

I bought this vacuum a little over 2 years ago. I loved it for the first year or so. I have two dogs, and it was amazing to see all of the fur sucked up into the canister. The belts did break, as other reviewers have mentioned, but I was able to replace them. After a year, I did notice the suction was getting weaker and I had to spend more time vacuuming over the same area of carpet to suck up anything. Then the vacuum started getting really noisy and one of the plastic pieces that hold the spinner in place snapped off. The vacuum still worked somewhat with a very noisy rattle from the broken plastic piece and then it started to smoke. I tried to replace the belt again but the broken plastic on the spinner wouldn't keep the spinner in place so the belt was smoking and melting against the spinner. Because the parts are made of cheap plastic, I don't think there's a way to fix the problem. I am buying a new vacuum and dumping this one today.
For $130 it doesn't seem like a person should have to buy a new vacuum after 2 years.

This vacuum has to be the worst purchase I have ever made. Anyone on here saying its the best one they've ever had hasn't owned it longer than 6 months or were paid to say it. The belts are "discontinued" at least thats what 4 different stores told me. It over heats and shuts off for at least a full day and when it turns back on it only last for maybe half a room and shuts off again. My husband bought it for me just 8 months ago and I'm about ready to throw it down my Apt building stairs. Now I have to go buy a new. It seems as though the vacuum knows when its out of warranty. I will never buy another hoover again. I wish i didn't have to give it any stars. One star is false advertisement.
