We just bought a travel trailer and picked this up to keep it clean. What a great deal! It is perfect for keeping in the RV. It's small and easy to store and works great for floors and upholstery.

I have used this every day for years (I can't remember how many--but at least four years). I recently bought a new one only because I was afraid of scratching my floors due to the rollers not turning as well as they had before. I moved the old one down to my basement work area, and use the new one in the main living areas.
I have three dogs (previously four) and two house rabbits, all of whom go through times of heavy shedding. During those times I sometimes vacuum certain areas twice a day. There has never been any maintenance problem with this vacuum cleaner. The suction is strong enough for me to do my rag rugs and area rugs, and the rollers don't scratch my wood floors. It's easy on my back, conveniently converts to a hand vac, and is easy to take out and use at a moment's notice (no tedious unwinding of long cord).
One reviewer did write that this vacuum is hard to clean. I clean mine by dumping the bulk of the debris into the trash, then vacuuming the filter periodically with my Kenmore heavy-duty vacuum cleaner. The chamber holds a lot of dust, so even when my pets are heavily shedding, I don't empty it more than every 2 - 3 days.
If I only could have one vacuum cleaner, this would be it.

Considering the size and weight, this is a very good product. I use it primarily on bare floors, but it does a nice job for light carpet care.

Good suction, even for a glorified dustbuster. It's basically a dustbuster with a long handle. I was quite surprised, however, of its suction. I have a german shepherd that sheds like crazy, and this little guy did a nice job with the animal fur as well as the usual dust or crumbs from the kids. However, don't bother using it on even a very thin bathroom rug or area rug, as it won't work on either. The suction isn't strong enough for that. It is basically made for quick cleanup on hard flooring. It holds a lot and doesn't clog at all. Great find for only $20.

I bought one of these vacuums back in 2003 when I bought my first house. They sold them at Wal-mart and have sense stopped selling them in the store. About 2 years or so ago, I sold my house and left this with it and bought a more expensive Black & Decker with more horsepower. I hated it. When I saw Amazon had this one, I gave my other one away and am now using this one again. LOVE IT!!! Would highly recommend it. It's very lightweight too. :)
